Should the CPAA produce a national CPA booklet for service users?

There has been widespread support for the national CPA Handbook produced by the CPA Association. Should the association now produce a CPA handbook for service users (and one for carers)?

Yes I think it would be a very good idea. It would cut out so many different variations on the same theme between different services/wards/departments/groups etc. Everyone would be singing from the same songsheet. Surely Service Users groups would prefer this?

I also think this is a very good idea, I think the CPAA should consider adopting the "CPA A User's Guide" produced by Hafal, which Hafal pooled advice and information from the Welsh Region in its production.

I think this is a very good idea, ideally it should be written by services users with the contant checked by the cpaa for accuracy. Anyone interested? Les Sharpe CPAA Chair
